Livello’s progeny

Livello has proven to be a very remarkable sire, despite his relatively small crop of progeny. His offspring have collectively earned over 1.2 million Euro in prize money through their success in showjumping competitions.

Among Livello's notable progeny is Lapuccino, ridden by Ireland's Michael Duffy, who has excelled in the 1.60m Nations Cup competitions, achieving notable results such as 6th place in the CSIO 5* World Cup in London and 3rd place in the 5* GCT Grand Prix in Hamburg.

Additionally, Livello has sired other exceptional performers in the showjumping arena, including BEC Lorenzo, ridden by Catherine Tyree of the USA, and ESI Toulouse, bred by Cian O'Connor/Ennisnag and produced to the 1.60m level by Cameron Hanley. FTS Killossery Konfusion, ridden by Jos Verlooy, and BEC Hugo, ridden by Osama Al Zabibi, have also achieved notable success.

Livello's influence extends beyond showjumping, with offspring like Ballinteskin Coopers competing successfully in eventing at the CCI4* level with Daisy Berkeley, and Cooley Tanglewood competing at CCI3* level with Rose Nesbitt.

Furthermore, Livello's legacy continues through his approved son, Lewine, who is standing with the Holsteiner Verband. Lewine is one of several approved stallions sired by Livello, further solidifying his impact on the breeding world. Livello's offspring consistently demonstrate talent, versatility, and competitive spirit across various disciplines, cementing his reputation as a top stallion in the equestrian world.

“It is a most remarkable fact that 50 % of his sport horse offspring boast showjumping results at S level [140m-1.50m]”

Holsteiner Verband

“When I rode Livello it felt like he had everything you want in a horse, he was careful, scopey very intelligent and had great rideability and now that I ride Toulouse it feels like he has passed on all these qualities to his offspring.”

Cameron Hanley, former rider of Livello

“I love Lapuccino’s sire Livello. He passes his own fantastic traits to his offspring: Intelligence, blood, balance, scope and carefulness and I would recommend him to any breeder for their mare.”

Michael Duffy, current rider of Lappuccino

“Livello was successful to the highest level in International Showjumping. He was ridden by seasoned professionals and young inexperienced riders to Championship success. This is demonstrating his talent, rideability, scope and carefulness. A great mover at all paces with blood and intelligence.”

Gerry Mullins

“I really feel Livello is a serious dual purpose sire. We have had many through our hands at Cooley Farm, while they are still young in their careers, we have sold them to top riders and I am sure you will see them at the very highest level of eventing in the near future. For my business, I am always interested in purchasing Livello stock from foals upwards.”
