He is by Gemini xx, the clone of Olympic silver medallist Gem Twist xx, and his dam produced Kerswin van ’t Roosakker, the 2015 Lanaken World Champion five-year-old. This Roosakker dam line has also produced top performers including Cella (Ben Maher), the leading WBFSH showjumper in 2013, and Electra van ’t Roosakker (Jos Lansink), a 5* Grand Prix and Nations Cup mare and full sister to H5 Ganesh Hero Z’s granddam. He carries more than 70% Thoroughbred blood, adding scope, reflexes,
and gallop.
Competition record while in Ireland
- 2017 2nd in the RDS three-year-old qualifier; 5th in the RDS finals.
- 2018 Winner of the Barnadown RDS qualifier out of 100 starters; won both four-yearold classes at the Dublin Horse Show; 3rd in the four-year-old championship final.
- 2019: Qualified for the RDS for the third consecutive year; 5th in the qualifier and progressed to the grand final.
- Senior sport: Reached 1.60m level under Carlos Hank Guerreiro with international victories and CSI5* placings, notably in San Miguel de Allende.
Taken together, his proven 1.60m performance, high percentage of blood, and the prolific Roosakker family make Ganesh Hero Z a compelling sire for modern show jumping and eventing programs.
